 About Laurie
Laurie received his real estate license in April 2007 and immediately joined ERA Landmark Real Estate as a Sales Associate. After having practiced law in Southern California for ten years, Laurie moved to Bozeman in 2000 and went to work outdoors as a wildland firefighter and assistant water well driller, giving him a profound appreciation for the Pacific Northwest as well as a broad knowledge of the Gallatin Valley and its neighborhoods. Most recently, Laurie spent three years as a law clerk at the Sabol Law Office, one of Bozeman’s top real estate law firms, where he acquired expertise in all manner of real estate transactions and developments. With over a decade of legal experience, Laurie has the education, knowledge, attention to detail and ability to work closely with clients necessary for the successful sale and purchase of residential and commercial real estate. He received his A.B. degree with honors from Harvard College and his J.D. degree from the University of California – Hastings, graduating in the top third of his class. Laurie has also taken numerous continuing education courses covering real estate and other legal topics. Laurie is strongly committed to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and enjoys being a judge at the public speech and debate tournaments at Bozeman High School. He is a member of the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service. Laurie and his wife Debbie recently welcomed their daughter Amelia into the world and look forward to introducing her to their favorite hiking and rafting trips in Montana and Idaho. Laurie is also an avid golfer, plays tennis, speaks french and enjoys a good game of euchre, cribbage and backgammon.
